Regular wood fencing is cut at 6’ with either a flat or "dog-ear" top. In our company we use 4" x 4" posts and (3), 2" x 4" rails to prevent pickets from warping. You can get pickets in either 4" or 6" widths. We advice a treatment to all wood products that are installed to ensure you get the longest life out of your wood fence. You can easily do this yourselves, or one of our professional installers can do it for an additional charge.
